It appears like I've been hacked. As of now if you see any of my toons it is not me. Please disable access to the guild bank for any of my toons. I'll let you guys know what going on.
Xorn and Redbud know my real name. They will know that it's not me if the are on when the account thief is.
This is very frustrating. Hope to have my account back soon. |

I have my account back. Due to my secret question. Some equipment has been vendored so I will need to get with Blizzard about recovery.
I've been playing since 2005 and have never been hacked before. I am very angry right now.  |

They transferred Alexandra from Uldum and gave her a lame name. I made a new Alexandra so no one could take the name.
Right now the account is frozen while the issue is investigated. One thing I'll need to do is have a different secret question. I think mine can be too easily guessed.
I've been tired from all the extra work and haven't been keeping up computer security like I should.
I hope the account thief didn't take too much from the guild bank.
Hopefully I will be back soon. |

I've been checking my computer for viruses. Haven't found any keyloggers. I have a program installed named keyscrambler that encrypts the keystrokes. It's susposed to stop keyloggers. I don't know how my information was stolen.
Anyone who has been hacked? Do you get all your stuff and gold back or just some of it? I can't name everything off the top of my head that's been stolen.
THe account is frozen right now while Blizzard is investigating what happened. |

Argi got almost everything back.. few items had stat changes and any "of the" greens prolly wont be same as ones you have if you have any..you should get most of your stuff back.. just a matter of when is all fella.. sorry ya got hacked =(

When my account was hacked a while back I never did find out the cause of it. Never found viruses, keyloggers, nothing. So I made my password complicated and also got a Blizzard Authenticator..now the only way someone can hack into my account is if they break into my house and get the authenticator..lol
As for getting stuff back...as I recall I got everything back and all was normal again. Stupid hackers. Good luck with it all! |

Finally, everything is restored and back to normal. I have my account,characters and items back. 
Unfortunately I noticed that the thief took some items from the guild bank  I am very sorry about that. I hope that nothing important was stolen.
I'm back and will be calling Ben a noob like usual  |

Dont fret about GB items.. those were returned to me hon.. so as long as you get your stuff back.. its all good =)
